Rabbits

We are Flopsy & Mopsy
Flopsy (right) and Mopsy (left) were first brought to our attention when Rabbit Haven, an amazing rescue, contacted us about having an abundance of rabbits in need of rehoming. These sisters, who were born in February of 2021, are named after characters in the story of Peter Rabbit. Both Flopsy and Mopsy enjoyed being petted and held. Mopsy passed away unexpectedly in September 2023. Flopsy continued to thrive and live her best life until she too passed in the summer of 2025. They were the sweetest companions, loved by everyone who met them. Flopsy and Mopsy will be deeply missed, and always remembered with love.

I'm Jett
In June of 2024, we were contacted by a rescue about a rabbit in need of rehoming. Our resident rabbit, Flopsy, was in need of a playmate so it was perfect timing. Jett settled in quite quickly at ABAR and the two rabbits became best friends. He loves to “jet” around their carrot kingdom living the dream. Jett, who was Flopsy's partner in crime, is now the only rabbit in the enclosure, and while at first we were worried about him, he seems to be doing very well with daily visits with his friend, Princess Peanut, the Peahen and Jazz the friendly Barn Cat.
