Peahens

Poppy is a mini mule who came from a kill pen slaughter truck. She was brought into another rescue that was having to move and bursting at the seams. One of our volunteers told me about her experience at the other rescue. She had been sitting with Poppy daily and trying to get her to trust people. Once I heard about Poppy, I went to the adoption fair I went and fell in love with her. Currently at ABAR she is adjusting to her new environment. We have been able to get her to eat treats out of our hands, but she is still very shy and too timid to let us touch her.
